| Resume: | Esse trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresenta dois capítulos, sendo o primeiro um artigo de revisão sobre o possível papel molecular dos extratos de Annona muricata nos processos antiproliferativo, anti-inflamatório e apoptótico, com enfoque maior nas acetogeninas, e o segundo, uma revisão sistemática sobre o potencial antitumoral dos extratos de A. muricata. O estudo do potencial farmacológico da A. muricata justifica-se pela necessidade de subsidiar o desenvolvimento de novos fármacos no tratamento anti-tumoral de forma a causar o menor dano possível ao organismo. A pesquisa foi realizada através da busca de artigos nas bases de dados Pubmed e Scielo e os resultados permitiram verificar que as acetogeninas presentes nas espécies da família Annonaceae se destacam e representam um grande potencial farmacológico no combate ao câncer, devido à sua ação antiproliferativa através da indução do apoptose por meio da inibição do complexo mitocondrial I da cadeia transportadora de elétrons, além de outros mecanismos de ação envolvidos. No entanto ainda se faz necessário mais estudos in vivo com o intuito de esclarecer os mecanismos de ação dos diferentes extratos presentes na planta. |
| Abstract: | This completion of course work in article format is a systematic review aimed at analyzing the antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory and apoptotic potential present in extracts of Annona Muricata, with a greater focus on acetogenins. The study of these compounds is justified by the need to subsidize the development of new drugs to combat tumor development to cause the least possible damage to the body. The research was conducted by searching for articles in the Pubmed and Scielo databases in the time interval from 2010 to 2023. The results showed that the acetogenins present in the species Annonaceae stand out and represent a great pharmacological potential in the fight against due to its antiproliferative action through the induction of apoptosis by inhibition of the mitochondrial complex I of the electron carrier chain, in addition to other mechanisms of action involved. The studies analyzed in this review indicate the anticancer potential present in the extracts of Annona Muricata, however it is still necessary more in vivo studies to clarify the mechanisms of action of the different extracts present in the plant. |
