A herança material e imaterial: o legado intocável de Frei Teófilo Antoniazzi a partir de relatos da sua trajetória percorrida no município de Machadinho/RS

Abstract

Studying and learning about local history and keeping it alive in the memory of a people is to recount on it every day, conceiving new discoveries, building an identity, promoting a question of belonging and appreciation of History itself. Starting from a dynamic that dialogues with different analytical methods, this study is based on the attempt to understand the Frei Teófilo Antoniazzi trajectory in the Machadinho / RS municipality, as well as his achievements as religious leader and public man, who even after his death causes esteem in the memory of the local population. This analysis is presented through bibliographic research, access to some collections, use of the Oral History with special attention on Micro History. Taking the material and immaterial patrimony as part of this construction and some forms of preservation as a means of preserving memory, the elevation of the Mirante Torres Museum translates through the objects exhibited the appreciation for the figure of the Frei and his revered singularity. Having said this, it is possible to describe their representativeness through the reports they have given, their immortality in the built materiality‟s and the intangible heritage conceived of the people who evokes him as a great man and leader in the community.
