Reflexões sobre o refeitório na educação infantil: nutrição, socialização e aprendizagem

Abstract

This research was developed for the conclusion work of the degree course in Pedagogy at the Federal University of the Southern Border, Chapecó campus/SC. The research has as its theme the importance of the cafeteria space in the development of children in early childhood education. Early childhood education plays a crucial role in the socialization of children, as it is during this period that the foundations for social interactions, emotional development, and identity construction are established. Space in early childhood education is not just a physical place, but an environment that directly influences the child's integral development. It shapes how children learn, play, interact, and develop cognitively, socially, and emotionally. This article analyzes the importance of cafeterias in early childhood education, considering this space as an environment conducive to food, socialization and development. This research is characterized as a case study, this research method involves the extensive collection of data and relevant information on the topic in question, it was based on observation and a semi-structured questionnaire. The development of the research provided being in an environment, observing and analyzing different ways of doing "snack time", we know that each early childhood education center and each school has its own habits, but being in the Criança Feliz Preschool, it was a sample of what we can find, the difficulties to be faced and what we can, enhance in other institutions.
