Produção orgânica e agroecologia: um estudo com o grupo orgânicos do Comandaí

Abstract

Organic agriculture has been cited currently as an alternative of income for family agriculture in the country, front the growing demand of the populations for healthy and safe food, in addition to the remarkable compatibility between production units and the requirements of such system productive. In that context, the present study has as objective check if organic agriculture developed in production units agriculture and cattle raising in the city of Cerro Largo, members of the group “Orgânicos do Comandaí” and linked to “Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia’’, has the ability of ensure the social reproduction of farmers that the develop. Through visits the six units of production currently integrated into the group in the municipality, the farmers were interviewed based on a script previously determined, that ensured the focus on the core issues for the general characterization and analysis of the technical-economic production systems, being recognized aspects connected the trajectory of training and constitution of the unit productive, development of organic agriculture, agoecologia and certification of production. The completion of this step, the economic calculation in the perspective of social reproduction was used next to the production units that best depict the local conditions para a transition proposal agroecological, as well as a legitimation characterization of the organic agriculture developed in the municipality, being recognised under this dynamic, three rural properties. This type of analysis allowed us to recognize the capacity of the production systems contribute to the reproduction of society, measured by the income of agricultural. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the rural producers in the group “Orgânicos do Comandaí”, develop activities little dependent inputs and equipment, source indústria, being that the organic production is derived from a dynamic life of farmers produce to feed the family group, based on the diversification of production and in the preservation of local ecosystems. The properties studied through economic calculation, and they are in the final phase of the certification or transition agroecological, have been shown to ensure the social reproduction of farmers in the establishment of agriculture.
