A palavra literária e a construção de frestas libertárias: a relação do discurso hegemônico e não hegemônico por meio da leitura

Abstract

This is a qualitative interpretative analysis research, which has as its central theme the understanding how literature reading reveals itself as a freedom gap in a society surrounded by totalitarian speech. Using the linguistic theoretical concepts of Bakhtin and their implications in our capitalist neoliberal society. Intending to answer the research question, “how the graduation and post-graduation students' speeches allow us to understand the conflicts between hegemonic and non-hegemonic discourses by the literature materiality?”, this research derives from the hypotheses that it is possible to understand the relationship between the reader and the text, and the conflict between hegemonic and non-hegemonic speech through the analysis of speeches made in a focal group with graduation and post-graduations students. It is concluded that this research was able to comprehend how understanding the dialogic roots of language and of literary reading creates the possibility to answer hegemonic speeches that are present in our society, resulting in the understanding of literary reading as a liberating educational space.
