A práxis pedagógica no ambiente hospitalar, a partir do olhar de uma pedagoda

Abstract

The Hospital Pedagogy is an area of important education to ensure the right of children and adolescents and that for some reason of infirmity are away from the school and are hospitalized. This research aimed at understanding the pedagogical practice in the hospital, from the look of an educator. Qualitative study, whose method is oral history that lets you view the lived experience. He participated in the study the only active educator hospital in the city. Two interviews were held in November 2014 after approval by the Research Ethics Committee, whose protocol is: 856276. The analysis is has listed two categories: Origin of hospital class, the training process and legislation; The pedagogical practice with their strengths and weaknesses. It is noteworthy that in spite of Hospital Pedagogy be old in the city in focus, it is present since 2002 through a legal prerogative. It was observed that the child / adolescent get continuity in their studies, qualifying the return to their school class. Projects are developed in adherence school propositions, promoting inclusion. The weaknesses are related to the physical area for hospital care, the inconsistent partnership with home schools in sending the content to be taught the lack of health staff and family on this legislation. Thus, this research expanded studies of hospital pedagogy, considering the lack thereof, assisting in teacher training since the data may serve for the discussion of social and educational inclusion, this theme in Brazilian educational policy.
