O caráter público na corda bamba: um estudo de caso em rede municipal de educação

Abstract

This article aims to study the public space in the municipal education system, in order to assess the implications arising for the management of the curriculum in this system and the use of booklet as content to be taught and learned. Our research task is guided by a case study with the use of content analysis. The documents that integrate and guide the management and the curriculum of a municipal education system will be analyzed. The text discusses the question of public and private character, and how they present themselves in the legal frameworks that make a municipal education system, as well as the consequences for the curriculum management adopting a booklet as a curricular reference. Even provisionally, it is clear that public space is subject to types of ownership by the private character of enterprises, in this case of analysis, the introduction and use of a booklet by the municipal system was found, a policy that will have repercussions on the desired emancipatory social quality announced in the political-pedagogical proposal of the municipal education system.
