Avaliação de micronutrientes em morangueiro em sistema hidropônico

Abstract

The cultivation of strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duch.) in a hydroponic system is an expanding activity of great profitability but it was verified that there are few studies in this area, mainly with regard to solution nutrition and fruit quality. The strawberry, being a culture sensitive to the availability of nutrients, needs some care and supply of nutritional needs to express all its productive potential. This study evaluated the interference of micronutrients in plant performance; performance in the vegetative aspects (height of the aerial part of the plant) and fruit quality performance (fruit size and weight). The project was conducted with macronutrient fertilization plus Fe addition, due to the high requirement of this nutrient for the crop, for all treatments. The following micronutrients were tested in the following ways: B, Mn, Zn and Cu in isolation, all these micronutrients together and without the presence of these micronutrients, totaling six treatments, each treatment had four replicates. The supply or deprivation of these micronutrients did not express significance of the evaluated aspects. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in the municipality of São Valentim – RS, in the period from May to August 2017.
