Provinha Brasil e suas implicações no currículo dos segundos anos das escolas estaduais de Erechim/RS

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the impact of applying Provinha Brazil in the curriculum of the second year of elementary school. This evaluation has the objective specified by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to diagnose the learning of students who are at this level of schooling. In accomplishment of the research, we came across existing goals implicit in the evaluation, such as the standardization of education and the creation of the national curriculum. From the finding of these aspects, the purpose of this study is to analyze what a group of teachers in the second year of primary education in state schools of Erechim / RS says about the changes that the implementation of Provinha Brazil is causing in the curriculum of schools and their daily practices. The objective is to analyze the influences that Provinha Brazil has in the curriculum of the courses of the second year of elementary school in state schools of Erechim / RS. The results of the research show that there is indeed a change in the selection of content to be worked in the second year, so that thus can achieve better grades in conducting the evaluation. Teachers have demonstrated conscience that the application of the assessment is causing positive changes in teaching. At no time they concern about the consequences of the evaluation as the standardization of curriculum, lack of autonomy of schools and teachers on teaching.
