As consonâncias e dissonâncias da historiografia oficial do município de Erechim: quando interdisciplinaridade dos estudos de violão e a música de concerto dizem muito sobre as identidade culturais contemporâneas

Abstract

This study analyzed the identity interpretations of the community of Erechim and region through a community diagnostic, developed because of the elaboration of Region Strategic Planning of Alto Uruguai Gaúcho, in 2008, and because of the repertoire programs of guitar studies and the Orchestra from the municipal school of Belas Artes Oswaldo Engel and the performed concerts during 2014 and 2018. It aimed to detect identity constructions through traditional and historical speech of the region, embedded in a modern and determine paradigm and elements which origin come from the changing of the post-modern, stressed by the approximation of the artistically musical universes: the erudite and the popular. For this purpose, it was used as method the documental and bibliographic research which, through the elaboration of a theoretical reference in the authors of the Cultural studies, tried to dialogue with the documents in analysis. It was possible to realize the importance of the identity and contemporary community references, qualifying and identifying the new social and politic arrangements promoted by the identity modifications and its relation with the process that organize, constitute and modify the post-modern societies, stressing the modifications in the artistic practice and its hybrid forms and redefinitions. Finally, it was possible to reveal the limitations, inaccuracies and inefficiency of the identity interpretations from constructions based on the traditional modernity, as well as the resistance to the post-modern paradigm by the local leaders, compromising in a decisive way the results of the politics of economic and social strategic planning.
