O papel da gestão na educação inclusiva

Abstract

This bibliographical and documental article brings aspects about management and inclusion and how these two areas can and need to be in sync for the proposal of an inclusive management. Based on the analysis of articles and guiding documents from MEC, it brings aspects of how the construction of an inclusive environment and the coordination of the school in an inclusive and participatory way have been described in academic research. The analyses were organized in two main axes: the role of management associated to the managers' view and the democratic management, created from the selection and analysis of 7 articles and 2 guiding documents from MEC. The conclusions indicate that inclusive management can only be effective with the proposal of participatory democratic management, and that managers need to keep an attentive eye on diversity and promote the participation of the school community in decision-making processes.
