Contornos da docência com bebês: uma análise de indicativos da produção teórica

Abstract

This work proposed to know the theoretical and practical indications about teaching with babies, present in recent scientific production in the area of Early Childhood Education. With this in mind, a search was carried out on the website of the National Association for Graduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPEd), in the period from 2015 to 2020, in Working Group 07 (GT07) - Education for Children from 0 to 6 years old. According to the established selection criteria and after reading in full a set of works, 6 researches were selected, which were later analyzed. We sought to give visibility to the indicatives, organizing them around four dimensions highlighted by the research: bodily and emotional availability, pedagogical attention, interactive actions of personal care and education, and the enhancement and expansion of babies' languages. It is noteworthy, therefore, that the analyzed theoretical production understands that the teaching activity is guided by listening and attentive observation of the wishes of babies, by respecting, valuing and expanding their languages. Likewise, the need for professionals to make themselves bodily and emotionally available to babies to accommodate their demands is highlighted. Interactive actions in care situations and the teacher's pedagogical intention are also considered essential to the educational process, by the authors of the works.
