| Resume: | O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar a prática de educação alimentar e nutricional (EAN) nas escolas da rede pública municipais em dois municípios do sudoeste do Paraná. Assim entrevistou-se 130 profissionais, utilizando-se questionário semiestruturado. Dos participantes 96,00% eram do sexo feminino, 65,00% professores, com dedicação exclusiva (75,39%). As ações de EAN aconteciam em sua maioria (73,39%) ao longo do ano, 95,38% referiram conhecer tais ações e 67,34% participavam das mesmas. Entretanto 64,52% consideraram insuficientes as ações realizadas por não contemplarem os pais e apesar de acontecerem ao longo do ano, não existia uma conexão entre essas. Quanto à responsabilidade de orientações sobre alimentação e nutrição aos escolares, 61,55% atribuiu aos familiares. Contudo observou-se que muitas informações não são repassadas corretamente devido falta de conhecimentos por parte dos profissionais para com o público atendido, havendo necessidade de formação em EAN para os participantes. |
| Resumen : | The objective of the present study was to identify the practice of food and nutritional education (EAN) in public schools municipal in two municipalities in the southwest of Paraná. This interviewed 130 professionals, using a semi-structured questionnaire. Of the participants, 96.00% were female, 65,00% were teachers, with exclusive dedication (75.39%). EAN actions were mostly carried out (73.39%) throughout the year, 95.38% reported knowing about these actions and 67.34% participated in them. Therefore, 64.52% considered that the actions carried out because they did not contemplate the parents were insufficient and although they happened during the year, there was no connection between them. As for the responsibility of guidelines on food and nutrition for schoolchildren, 61.55% attributed to family members. It is concluded that much information is not passed on due to lack of knowledge on the part of the professionals towards the public attended, requiring training in EAN for the participants. |
