Narrativas sobre a cultura alimentar no município de Realeza - PR

Abstract

Introduction: History is an important information source about food, since such a situation is clearly influenced by social, cultural and other issues. The influence of the mentioned factors is still observed in the way of acquisition and production of foods, as well as in the customs and ways of carrying out the food. The development of monoculture combined with the growth of capitalist idealism has lessened the relevance of family agriculture, a fact that has led to a drastic change in food sovereignty, since quality of life and food production are closely linked to this agricultural model. Objective: To rescue and preserve thefood culture patrimony of the municipality of RealezaPr, through a historical account of the oldest inhabitants of the city. Methodology: Interviews were carried out with residents who lived in the municipality of Realeza-PR and / or who were involved with agriculture and local culture, with the leaders of the local farming communities, as well as the pioneers of the municipality. Results And Discussion: Among those interviewed in the municipality, the presence of feelings in food relations is significant, whether due to the devaluation of the small farmer and the incorporation of industrialized products in food, or the added value of food symbolism, recalling childhood memories. Conclusion: It is possible to observe the food representation in the formation of the family identity of the farmer, which remains with the production of some foods for self-consumption, in relation to the insertion of the industrialized foods may be related to the sociability, where the current food conformism Distances us from local diversity and identity.
