A literatura infantil na plataforma digital elefante letrado

Abstract

The present work proposes the analysis of the Elefante Letrado Digital Platform, which has been consolidated in the educational market, gaining more and more space in schools and in the lives of children. Therefore, the main objective of the research was to identify which conceptions of Children's Literature are present in the Elefante Letrado Digital Platform. For this, a bibliographic research was carried out, in which authors who address the theme of this work were selected, such as Abramovich (2003), Cademartori (2010), Lajolo and Zilberman (2011), Ribeiro and Bittencourt (2020), Kirchof and Mello (2020). Also, to add the theoretical foundation, a State of Knowledge survey was carried out in order to find works that addressed this theme. For this purpose, in Google Scholar, the searches carried out from 2015 to 2021 were explored, with the following descriptors: “Elefante Letrado”. In this search, 11 works were selected that address the Elefante Letrado Platform. During the State of Knowledge research, it was possible to notice that most studies cite the platform as an example of a digital reading medium, but only one is dedicated to investigating and problematizing it, thus reaffirming the importance of present Course Completion Work (TCC). As a last step, a documental research was carried out, since the Elefante Letrado Digital Platform in this work is understood as a document. To this end, the stages of Content Analysis, cited by Lourence Bardin (2016), were covered, which are pre-analysis, exploration of the material and treatment of the results obtained. The two categories established in the content analysis were: "Conceptions of Children's Literature present in the Elefante Letrado Platform", where the functions available in the Elefante Letrado Platform were problematized, in order to understand the concepts present in this platform; and “The pedagogization of Children's Literature in the Elefante Letrado Platform”, the ways in which the platform pedagogizes Children's Literature were analyzed. The conclusions of the study point out that the Elefante Letrado Platform has a rich collection, with excellent authors and works, however, in its uses and functions, especially in the plan designated to schools, it presents traces of a traditional pedagogy, where it discredits that the child is capable of choosing what they want to read, since it allows teachers to choose for their students. Also, by enabling the teacher to use literature as a pedagogical support, encouraging the teacher to assign tasks and readings, the platform leaves another big gap, because children's literature is art, and, as such, it is in the world for aesthetic experiences, enjoyment, delight.
