O mangá e anime Naruto nas aulas de sociologia: uma proposta de metodologia de ensino e aprendizagem

Abstract

The present research aims to work on a new teaching methodology thinking about the autonomy and intellectual emancipation of students supported by Paulo Freire's pedagogical proposal of dialogicity, in the search to transpose monocultural teaching and the reproduction of social inequalities, recognizing cultural plurality through interculturalism and an education structured in the sociocultural imagination of students. To this end, the manga and anime Naruto are used as a pedagogical tool to work on the concepts of myth and culture in sociology classes in the classroom. The methodology used is Qualitative, Bibliographic and Pedagogical Intervention research. As a result, it was possible to notice that students show significant interest when using the anime Naruto by correlating its story with Eastern culture, which encourages them to participate and dialogue during the activity. In this way, we understand that the use of this media artifact made it possible to stimulate the creation of new perceptions about the world in which these students are inserted, contributing significantly to the understanding of the concepts mentioned by providing symbolic references that facilitated the assimilation of the proposed theory. Therefore, the use of the manga and anime Naruto enables the creation of new methodological practices, establishing itself as a playful and symbolic support when thinking about school education articulated with the sociocultural imaginary, seeking to overcome formal and monocultural education in teaching-learning relationships.
