Desenvolvimento infantil em Vygotsky: contribuições para a mediação pedagógica na educação infantil

Abstract

This article is of a theoretical nature and aims to understand, based on Vygotsky’s theory, the role of pedagogical mediation in early childhood education. It is assumed that the pedagogical practice of the teacher is fundamental to ensure learning and development of children from 0 to 5 years. As a method, studies were carried out by Vygotsky, Rego and Oliveira among other authors in order to deepen this theme. We conclude that a planned, organized environment that has resources in which the mediating teacher can make them available promotes learning and child development.
