Abstract

This study was developed as Work Course Conclusion, with requisite for obtaining the title of Pedagogy. With the main focus the discussion of physical education in kindergarten, trying to understand and discuss the formation of the child in this level of education. For this it was decided by a bibliographical and documentary research study, taking into account the emergence of Physical Education and its trends over the decades, and the development of early childhood education. Then analyzed the profile of educational institutions, educational concepts and the organization of educational policies for children, especially in the last two decades, noting the outlook, objectives of early childhood education in the documents that guide this type and importance of development of body culture. It’s a believed that both the teacher and physical education teacher can and should work together, aiming at full and integral development of its students. The recognition of early childhood education as basic education component, so as a universal right has promoted the search for places and the expansion of school systems. Consequently, we understand how important the qualification of the debate and pedagogical practices that involve this type of education.
