| Resume: | A educação financeira auxilia os indivíduos nas tomadas de decisões, quando utilizada de forma correta esta ferramenta pode levar a decisões mais assertivas e eficientes. Diante dessa importância, temse como objetivo principal analisar o nível de alfabetização financeira dos servidores técnicoadministrativos da Universidade da Fronteira Sul do campus Chapecó SC. Para isso realizouse uma pesquisa com survey com os servidores técnicoadministrativos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de aplicação de questionário, que totalizou 40 respostas, e foram analisados via teste estatístico Quiquadrado. O nível de conhecimento dos servidores foi verificado conforme escala recomendada por Chen e Volpe (1998), os quais estabelecem níveis: alto, médio e baixo. Os resultados apontam que tanto os servidores do gênero feminino como masculino possuem conhecimento financeiro de nível médio. Além da análise sobre conhecimento financeiro, este estudo buscou também analisar a ótica comportamental dos servidores, como nível de poupança e meios de pagamentos. Outrossim, concluise que a educação financeira de qualidade promove aos indivíduos uma qualidade de vida maior, além de contribuir com o fortalecimento da sociedade economicamente. |
| Abstract: | Financial education assists individuals in decisionmaking, when used correctly, this tool can lead to more assertive and efficient decisions, given this importance, the main objective is to analyze the level of financial literacy of the technicaladministrative servants of the University Fronteira Sul of the ChapecóSC campus. For this, a survey survey was carried out with the technicaladministrative servers. The data were collected through the application of a questionnaire, which totaled 40 responses, and were analyzed using the Chisquare statistical test. The level of knowledge of the servers was verified according to the scale recommended by Chen and Volpe (1998), which establish levels: high, medium and low. The results show that gender female and male servers have mediumlevel financial knowledge. In addition to the analysis about financial knowledge, this study also sought to analyze the behavioral optics of servants, such as level of savings, means of payment. Furthermore, it is concluded that quality financial education promotes a higher quality of life for individuals, in addition to contributing to the strengthening of society economically. |
