O estágio não obrigatório na formação de licenciandos em ciências biológicas: espaços de possibilidades formativas

Abstract

The practice of mandatory and non-mandatory supervised internships is considered a time to mobilize the theories learned throughout training with the professional practices provided. This practice spans various fields of knowledge, but in this research, it involves the training of undergraduate students in Biological Sciences. One of the concerns arising from the non-mandatory internship is related to the contributions these activities make to the academic and professional development of participants, which are problematized in this research project. Based on these situations, we seek to better understand the purposes of the non-mandatory internship for the academic and professional development of participants. Our results indicate a similarity with the contributions historically constructed in the practice of mandatory internships, as well as providing a space for problematization and development of professional knowledge.
