Abstract

The play is in fact the main activity carried out by children in early childhood education. So it is in him unfolding the most significant changes in psychological traits and the child’s consciousness. Main focus, this article aims to reflect how the game of social roles influences on child development and understand the play as human development factor. Is is a bibliographical research, therefore, we take as a theoretical reference to historical-cultural perspective, which has as one of its main representatives Lev Semenovich Vygotsky. In, this text, we discuss the importance of the game of social roles as an activity that promotes child development and finally we reflect the role of teacher-mediator during play social roles.
